THis is a very soft hammering, don't think the big hammers are fully swing, fr from. It is just to concentrate the iron more to a compact block while it is hot. It also kicks out some dirt still in it's middle. This has to be done quickly, before it cools down to much and not to hard to avoid breaking the block in bits and pieces like glass
